Drop Dead Clothing are excited to announce our new project ‘Drop Dead Music’. We have always had strong ties with the music world and it has played a significant role in both the design and sponsorship aspects of Drop Dead. With Drop Dead Music our goal is to work closely with unsigned artists that we love and create something that both music and clothing fans can enjoy!
Our first project is a collaboration with UK producer/DJ ‘DRAPER’. We’re big fans of the way Draper combines modern dubstep beats with classic 8 bit sounding synths. Over the past year we’ve enlisted him to create original tracks for several of our online lookbooks. We decided to collaborate with him on his upcoming self titled EP release. With 4 amazing and diverse tracks, the EP instantly gives you a euphoric summer feeling.
To kick off Draper’s Self Titled EP with style we have put together a limited edition box-set that includes a copy of the EP and a t-shirt featuring custom Draper x Drop Dead artwork. We worked together on a design that would reflect Draper’s style well, blending photographic and illustrative elements and incorporating both Draper and Drop Dead logos to create a package that will blow your minds!
Here’s the new single from Canterbury, ‘Ready Yet?’. These guys are touring the UK in a few weeks, I hope you’ve got your tickets!
